Does the bar have food?

Yes! Lots of options, including vegetarian and vegan.

Do I have to drink alcohol to come?

No, you do not. In fact, one of our organizers does not drink. This is about getting together and socializing (something that so often does not get prioritized). Drinking is optional.

Well... short answer, there is some street parking nearby (first come, first serve). There are also several larger parking lots downtown which you could pay to park at.

How do I get there on public transit?

The Chemist Lounge is a 5-10 min walk from public transit. The closest line is the Chinatown Stop on the Orange Line. We are also a 10 min walk Park Street (which is a hub for the Green and Red Lines).

Want to catch a drink after work? Make friends? Chill with people who like to talk about democracy?

We are a small, but growing group of people who meet every third Tuesday at the Chemist Cocktail Lounge to socialize, make friends, and talk about democracy!

Grab a drink, relax, and talk to people who want to improve our democracy.

Don't drink? The Chemist Lounge has mocktails, as well as food (including veggie options). This group is open to everyone 21+ who likes democracy and wants to make friends.

We are organized by two volunteers for the movement for ranked choice voting in Boston and Massachusetts! :)
