Drink + Design: Social Media Panel and Happier Hour

Jude Fulton will be moderating a discussion with panelists Nanette, Chris, John and Vikram about social media through the lens of design. The panelists are creatives who build and engage their communities on a daily basis as designers and writers.

Panelist bios:  

Chris Messina: Friend to startups, inventor of the hashtag, former Googler, and proud participant in the open source / open web communities. 

Nanette Wong: Social Media Community Manager at mobile photo editing and creative app PicsArt and contributor to the Design Milk and Houzz blog. After a quarter life crisis, she gave up a cushy job in healthcare to start again as an intern and pursue her passion for design, photography and digital marketing. 

Vikram Babu: Publisher-founder of Absurdist, who sees design as a tool for change. He is building future proof publications while tape jockeying and product designing for early stage startups.

John Moore Williams: Head of Content at Webflow, Copywriter and Content Strategist. Poet and Visual artist.

Moderator Jude Fulton: An East-Coaster at heart, Jude moved west in order to pursue her dreams of making simple design tools accessible to a wider audience.  She is a recent graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Design where she studied Architecture, and Yale, where she studied History of Art.
