Drifter Chapel - Grief Commons
Overview
THE GRIEF COMMONS (A Year-End Gathering)
December is a strange threshold. We’re supposed to celebrate, but many of us carry far more than we let on. Losses we haven’t named, changes we didn’t choose, versions of ourselves we’re still learning to love.
The Grief Commons is a small, gentle gathering designed to help hold all of that. Not a church service. Not a support group. Just a room of honest people who sense that grief isn’t a failure; it’s part of being awake.
We’ll sit together in a quiet space lined with books.
We’ll name what the year took, what it revealed,
and what we’re still carrying.
We’ll have moments of silence, reflection, and simple ritual.
No pressure to share. No fixing. No performing.
Just space. Shared, human, real.
If you need a place to exhale the year, this is for you.
Limited to 50 seats. Registration required. Free Event.
Donations support the space and supplies. No one is expected to give.
In-person only. All backgrounds welcome.
