Is there parking at the studio?

There is limited parking at studio.  Other options for parking: 1. Parking across the street between the Murals 2. municipal parking on 23rd street. Free Parking until 6pm. 3. parking behind the studio and walking around.

do I need experience in drawing?

Accepted Answer

There is no experience required.  It's a fun social sexy evening with live model.  Please note that there is often nudity.  You can draw stick figures.  I have found that a lot of people who say they don't have experience draw pretty well for their first time.  Just need to focus, practice/have fun

Is there refreshments?

There is some alcohol and non-alcoholic refreshments. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks for yourself or to share.

Do I need to bring anything?

We will have some sketchbooks and pencils.  But feel free to bring whatever art supplies you like.  Some people use pencil, watercolor, acrylic, crayons etc.  Bring whatever you want to work with.

Is there instruction included?

No, this is a non-guided workshop.  Several poses throughout the night starting with quicker ones to longer poses.  Though if you want some help, sit next to the host/artist.

Is there reserved seating?

Currently there is not, it is first come first served...  however if you must sit together, please send a note and I will try to reserve spots together or come early and snag your favorite seat location.
