About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Pencils are made from graphite–but we’ll be using this familiar medium in a completely new way. Powdered graphite creates unique, atmospheric effects–like a pencil but much more fluid! After a short demonstration by local artist Erin Raedeke, students will use this new medium to capture the Rock Creek landscape.
