Drawing Parallels

A collaborative exhibition bringing together three local artists and three incarcerated artists. The host, JustArts Gallery, is dedicated to fostering connection between people inside and outside of prison through creative expression. Each artwork in the show was created in dialogue—an exchange of ideas, perspectives, and shared humanity across physical and social barriers. By pairing “inside” and local artists, Drawing Parallels highlights the connections that emerge through art, revealing parallel experiences, challenges, and hopes. This exhibition invites viewers to witness how creativity bridges distance and opens space for empathy, understanding, and transformation.
