About this event

Arts • Fine Art

Michela Mansuino will lead you through still-life studies using the Studio Incamminati techniques of learning to draw. This all-levels class will develop your observational skills to capture contour lines in correct perspective while using the envelope method of blocking shapes in. You will enhance your rendering abilities by learning to separate lights and darks and create 3-dimensional forms on paper. Through regular practice, your perception skills will improve to recognize tonal value scales both in the still life you seek to represent as well as within your own drawing. You will learn to accurately represent a consistent light-source when depicting shadows and highlights. This class is an excellent choice for artists who wish to establish or develop further the foundational core skill of all visual arts: drawing.

Class Schedule: Class Dates: 9/26, 10/10, 10/24, 11/14.
