Drawing Class: LIGHTs and SHADOWs with GRAPHITE pencil (WTDP216A)

I will share some example images, then I will show on my camera how to create the different values by shading carefully. Afterwards we'll draw from a reference image, using graphite and through shading we will create the illusion of tridimentionality on the flat surface of our paper.

For this class have some drawing paper (better if it has some tooth/texture/fine grain), graphite pencils 2B, 4B, 6B. Sharpener. Kneader and regular pencil eraser.
Optional: If you have a 2H or 3H it might be of help. Sharpener. Kneader and regular pencil eraser. Blending stump/tortillon.

At the end, those who want, can share their artworks on their cameras screen, to see what they have done or in case you need any help.

The constant practise added to the images proposed are always helpful to train your eyes and develop your drawing skills.

Remember: Each class is different as the reference images always are, even though the subject of the class may bear the same name.

WAYS TO DRAW and Paint are a series of art classes online intended to anyone who wants to learn and practise different ways of drawing and painting, since there isn't only one, as there isn't only one way to do things in life.
