Drawing Class: INK + WASH (WTDP217) dibujofranco

This time we will be using ink to draw after some images I'll share on the screen. We will prepare different washes then we will use the ink pure and diluted, to be applied with a brush.
To start I'll make a short introduction to this drawing technique and some of the possibilities of work it gives us. I'll show some examples of drawings made with it.

Materials/tools you need: some black water soluble ink, a 2B graphite pencil, eraser and a sharpener, watercolor paper, a few sheets of regular A4 size 80 grams printer's paper, a flat hard surface like a drawing board. Synthetic fibers brushes - flat or round - two containers with water, a piece of cotton fabric/towel, some towel paper, a mixing pallette with at least six wells.

At the end, you can share your work on the screen if you want or send it through email so that we can see it.
