Drawing Time!!

This time this won't be a whole tutored class but a free drawing session although there might be some tips on some of the images, things to keep in mind... who knows?
The images in this session will be different portraits to sketch for some 10-15 minutes. At the end, optionally, we'll share our works on camera.

Quick sketching is for me very helpful to learn to spot the important parts of an image and put them on the paper. Those are related to shapes, lines, inner rhythms, values, etc.

So, grab your favorite art supplies and get ready to enjoy drawing! I suggest simple sketching materials: any type of pencils, markers, ballpoint/fountain pens; drawing paper. An eraser and a sharpener are optional. If you're an experienced artist you can use watercolors, ink or what you decide. It's your choice.

Classes contents are never repeated neither are the reference images we draw from. Some images are easier than others, and even though we think it might be difficult to sketch them, think of them as challenges, to develop your skills as an artist.

This is not one of my usual tutored classes. This is a sketching session, with not many explanations. Even so, you can be a beginner student who really likes drawing to attend. The importat is to enjoy the moment, not so much the results. I'm a trained visual arts teacher working independently, without sponsors. Thanks for supporting my work.

After checking out you must receive, besides the emails from Eventbrite, an email from ZOOM with all the data to join (ID/PASSCODE/Direct Link). The passcode is always the current year, now "2025".
