About William Demaria
William Demaria is a Baltimore based artist who began his career with the study of alla prima and Flemish style portrait painting. While his current art practice has diverged into artwork based in the landscape, lessons he learned from these studies serve as a major source of inspiration for his current artwork. Demaria finds the process of creating artwork itself to be beautiful and has always been interested in studying the way artwork is made. He believes that every student, no matter their skill level, has an individual voice that should be developed.
