DRAW & PRINT: ELEMENTS OF DRAWING AND PRINTMAKING

Hives are at their best when the bees work together, and different types of art are just the same when they come together through cross-pollination!Come join us for a fun day of "Draw and Print" Hive Art Camp, combining elements of drawing and printmaking.

Learn how to draw your own cartoon character-- whether that's a bee, another kind of bug, or anything at all-- and put them into an illustration or a short comic, and then learn how to recreate that character design by carving them into a plate for a block print!

You are welcome to try this out whether you are more experienced with drawing and less experienced with printmaking, or vice versa!You will also get the chance to learn how to hand color your drawings, as well as your printmaking prints.Join us for a fun day of art making and see what all the Buzz is about!
