Drag Story Hour at Broadway

Join us on Saturday, June 21st, in the Lamplighter Broadway taproom for a family-friendly drag story hour in celebration of Pride.

We're thrilled to debut our very first drag story hour, co-hosted by Pepita and MTPC. Brooke Pool, one of our favorite queens, will lead us on a journey of inclusive and inspiring storytelling. All are welcome to join this celebration of gender diversity and self-acceptance! Don't forget your singles or Venmos to tip our incredible performer.

For the 21+ crowd, enjoy pints of our iconic Pride beer, Ms. Frizzle. This delectable and purple-hued Sour is made with lemon & butterfly pea flower, the perfect light beer for a Saturday pick-me-up.

Looking for NA or kid-friendly options? We've got kombucha, a full coffee/espresso menu from Pepits, and a special, Pride-themed Butterfly Flower Iced Tea. Watch in amazement as this refreshing drink changes hue from indigo to violet.

No matter what you choose, ask your bartender for a glitter bomb, and your drink will sparkle!

Get your brunch on before (or after!) story hour with Pepita's delicious, hearty sandwiches and Forge Baking Co. pastries. This stacked menu has plenty of options for kids and adults alike.

And here's the best part: we're donating a dollar from every pour of Ms. Frizzle and our Pride lemonade to the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition. The incredible team at MTPC works to ensure the well-being, safety, and lived equity of all trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive community members in Massachusetts.

This event is free to attend, and we want as many folks as possible to join us so bring your friends. If you're looking for a way to further give back to our queer community, there is an option to add a direct donation to MTPC at checkout.

Please note that an RSVP here does not guarantee entry, all taproom space is first come first serve! Due to capacity restrictions we will have to close entry once our space is full. We'd recommend coming early to beat the line and have first dibs on taproom seating.
