Join the Downtown Columbia Partnership and the Howard County Office of Transportation for a Culinary Walking Tour of Downtown Columbia!Participating restaurants will be announced in late-August. Expect five to seven participating restaurants.

Choose from two ticket levels:

  • Nibbles Only (all ages)
  • Nibbles & Drink Pairings (21+)

Participants will receive a Tasting Card to present at featured restaurants in exchange for delicious bites and drinks.

This is a walking event—get your steps in and your snack on!Be prepared to explore all around Downtown Columbia, moving from restaurant to restaurant. Depending on your chosen route, the total distance covered may be 2 to 2.5 miles and could take an hour to 90 minutes or more of walking (depending on your walking pace).

Check-InIt’s going to be a great day filled with delicious food and drinks. You can check in at one of three locations:

Check-in will be available at all locations starting at 3:00 p.m. Please note that restaurants will not begin serving until 3:00 p.m.

Route and TimingYou’ll have multiple restaurants to visit within a three-hour window. The full distance between participating restaurants is approximately 2.5 miles round trip, depending on your chosen route. On average, it takes about an hour to 90 minutes to walk three miles, which gives you roughly 15-20 minutes per restaurant. Please pace yourself—all restaurants will stop serving promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Have fun and be safe!Downtown Columbia is a wonderful place to explore on foot, but please stay aware of your surroundings and cross streets at designated crosswalks.

The distance between the participating restaurants could be up to three miles round trip depending on the route you take. It takes the average person 20-30 minutes to walk one mile. That leaves you with about 5-20 minutes per restaurant.
