Downsizing Part 2 - How to Build Your Team and Tackle Your Stuff
Overview
Once your plan is in place, the next step is knowing who can help you carry it out. This seminar focuses on the key professionals involved in a downsizing move and how to choose people you can trust.
We will walk through the roles of organizers, estate liquidators, contractors, inspectors, real estate agents, move managers, and other support partners so you understand what each one does and when to bring them in.
We will also talk about the reality of facing a house full of belongings. This builds on the conversation we started in January about the emotions tied to possessions and offers practical ways to make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed.
A professional organizer and a local senior who has completed their downsizing journey will join us to share what helped most, what to avoid, and how to keep the process manageable.
What You Will Learn:
- How to choose reliable professionals for each part of your move
- What different experts actually do and how they support you
- How to begin tackling belongings in a way that feels doable
- How to stay focused without feeling rushed or pressured
This session is designed to help you feel supported, organized, and ready for the next phase of your downsizing journey.
