Launching during Refugee Week with food and music, these creative workshops exploring movement, sound, and storytelling invite people with lived experience of displacement & those who share the value that people who arrive in the UK seeking safety have the right to live freely. Led by the Body as Data collective, the sessions centre on creative agency and cultural expression - and will feed into the Body as Data project’s larger performance mapping event and digital archive that remaps erased histories and reclaims space across the Kent coast.

This is a series of workshops culminating in a filmed performance event on Sunday 20th July (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/performance-body-as-data-maps-in-motion-tickets-1388149385179?aff=oddtdtcreator). Therefore attendance to all workshops is ideal, as the content will build from session to session. If you cannot attend the mapping event or all workshops, your attendance is still welcome.
