Micah Pulleyn is turning 50, and Emily Balcken is dancing into another radiant year on her way to 50 —and we’re inviting you to help us mark the moment in the best way we know how: with music, movement, and the magic of being together...

With the talented and beloved DJ Marley Carroll bringing the positive vibes! If y'all know the Holiday Liquor and Dance Party, you know what this DJ brings. But, hopefully later in the evening, he'll also share with us his personal music that will blow you away.

Virgo is the sign of devotion, and nothing makes us feel more alive than gathering with our people in celebration of love, friendship, and joy. So come gussied up and glittered out, ready to honor the sacred art of a damn fine dance party.

Come join us at The Mule at Devil's Foot Beverage on August 30th to celebrate life, love, and all the magic!

This event is free and open to the public. We do have a donation "ticket" available for those who want to help Micah and Emily offset the expenses related to the event and to donate to organizations supporting immigrant rights.

We absolutely want you to bring your friends, loved ones, and complete strangers to come dance with us, too!

7pm arrive and enjoy the pre-party (more details TBD)

8-11 DJ Marley Carroll takes us on a journey, be ready to boogie!

There will be food trucks onsite for when you get hungry. The bar has wine, beer, spirits, and plenty of nonalcoholic options.

While we absolutely love our kiddos and other people's children, we ask that this be an adult-only celebration.

We also encourage you to utilize ride share options if you plan on drinking.

How can I help with the expenses of the event?

Absolutely (and, thank you)! We've built in a donation ticket type where you can write in your amount and help us give the DJ some more love, and the venue a high five! We are funding this ourselves, so any support helps not only generously give to our vendors but also allows us to have more fun!

How do I know if I'll enjoy the dance party?

Shut up. Put your dancing pants/hot as fuck outfit/dress/shoes/wig/lipstick/heels on and just show up. The rest is history.
