About the Artist

Cameron A. Granger is Sandra’s son & came up in Euclid, Ohio. He likes pigeons, video games, & memes. Lately he's been thinking about how myth making and narrative have been used as a means to police the imagination, and making movies with his friends. He’s a lifetime member of Columbus, Ohio's MINT Collective, long may it live, and an alumni of Euclid Public Schools.

Granger was recently an artist in residence at the Studio Museum in Harlem, NY (2021-2022), Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture in (2017), and ACRE (2016). In 2023 Cameron's film "Before I Let Go", was awarded Best Experimental Film and the Audience Choice Award at BlackStar Film Festival. His most recent solo exhibitions "9999" and "DOOM & GLOOM!!" were at the Queens Museum (Queens, NY) and Kate Werble Gallery (NY,NY) in 2024 and 2025 respectively.

Presented with support from the Dorothy Lemelson Foundation.
