Discover the past, present and future of railways on an incredible National Exhibition Train, 'Inspiration' that includes four fascinating carriages where visitors are taken on a journey of invention through the 19th and 20th centuries to the modern day. Learn about the ways in which railways are evolving and the important role rail plays around the world. Take part in interactive activities to inspire young people with hands on experiences that teach them about engineering. Discover the 'hidden roles' that a career path in rail has to offer. As well as the exhibition train, there will also be a number of other attractions including children's entertainment, heritage and souvenir stands, food & drink stalls, vehicles, rail, travel and other related activities to educate and entertain.
Please note, if you have booked a ticket for 3pm on either the 16th or 17th August, we highly recommend you visit the exhibition train first so that you have plenty of time to enjoy this exciting opportunity!
