By Crystal Joseph, LCPC, LPC, ACS

Overview

Celebrate 10 yrs of PsycYourMind with the premiere of PoundCake & Private Practice—Crystal's story of roots, risks, and reinvention.

Join us for the premiere screening of PoundCake & Private Practice (part iii), a documentary exploring the intersections of mental health, entrepreneurship, and culture. Sold throughout the United States, internationally, and catalogued in collegiate libraries, PoundCake & Private Practice: 5 Things I Learned During My First Year (2018) and PoundCake & Private Practice: 5 Things I Learned During the Pandemic (2022) books have helped graduate students and seasoned psychotherapists alike, put theory to practice with a conversational and candid tone.

This special evening will be hosted by Crystal Joseph, LCPC, LPC, ACS — the film’s Director/Producer, and Founder of PsycYourMind, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The screening will be followed by a live panel discussion moderated by the assistant director, alongside regional licensed therapists and special guests. Together, we’ll unpack the documentary’s themes and share practical insights on roots, representation, and reimagining private practice.

The evening closes with a Q&A session, networking, and book signing with Crystal Joseph. CEU eligible.
