DGG is the signature annual event for the nonprofit sector in Austin, bringing together multiple teams representing local nonprofits to help solve this years new theme, Murder at the Speakeasy, win prizes, raise money for their favorite nonprofits, and connect with fellow nonprofit professionals over dinner, drinks, and socializing. YNPN utilizes DGG as its premiere fundraiser to support YNPN programming for the next year and re-engage community members in YNPN’s mission.
This year we present a murder mystery for all to participate in! It’s 1928 in Austin. The “Silent Speakeasy” was the city’s most glamorous hideaway—until its owner, Samuel “Silky Sam” Romano, was found dead in his office last night. The police are baffled, so tonight, YOU, our brilliant detective agencies, will uncover the truth. Six suspects remain under suspicion. Listen closely, examine the evidence, and decide: Who killed Silky Sam, and why?
