Proposal Concept Pitch Session

Please join DMDII Project Team staff for a virtual proposal concept pitch session, a new addition to our project call response process.

The purpose of this time is to enable individuals and organizations that have already begun to form teams the chance to share a snapshot of their solution to the 18-01 RFP and receive preliminary feedback from the DMDII community. In addition, this will be an excellent teaming opportunity for individuals and groups that identify synergies between their pitches.

It is highly encouraged, but not mandatory, to attend this event if you plan on submitting a proposal in response to the DMDII 18-01 RFP, the full text of which is available here.

Instructions

Pitches will last no longer than 10 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of Q&A. There is is no template for the presentation so please refer to the Executive Summary template in the PPK for important points to consider including in your deck. You should focus on the vision for your solution and how it addresses the challenges descriped in the RFP, the full text of which is available here.

To sign up for a time slot, please email charlie.tokowitz@uilabs.org by 5p CST 7/19/2018. Presenters are encouraged, but not required, to attend the entire duration of the pitch session. A detailed schedule will be sent out 7/20/2018. Anybody may RSVP for the event through Eventbrite but you must additionally email charlie.tokowitz@uilabs.org if you plan on presenting.

There will be no official grading or evaluation of these pitch sessions. The first downselect occurs after Executive Summaries are submitted on 8/13/2018 (Please see the PPK for an overview of the entire process).

Please note: by signing up to present a pitch deck, you agree to have your deck posted onto the Membership Portal for teaming purposes. Additionally, you will be asked to agree to share your contact information with DMDII members during the ticket checkout process.
