Born in Hayward, CA and raised in Sacramento, CA, Lex began her DJ career at the peak of the COVID pandemic. At a period of time where society experienced isolation, social media carried the primary source of connecting. Creating an at home studio with her father’s equipment, she began posting mashups and mixes on social media. As a result, she was able to reach over +600k followers on TikTok and over 180k followers on Instagram.
Since the pandemic, she has played all around the United States. LEX has opened up for artists like Kehlani, Bryson Tiller, Summer Walker, YG, P-lo, Larry June, Lil Jon, and more. She also has experience on the radio station with 99.7 NOW in the Bay Area.
Having a classical piano background, LEX began to incorporate the piano in her sets - Sol Blume Festival being the first in 2023. She has collaborated with brands like Air Jordan, Sony, Sparkling Ice, HUF and record labels like Def Jam Records and EMPIRE. In late 2023, LEX starred in her first commercial with Frito Lays.
Being established as a DJ, LEX hopes to inspire others to pursue their passion despite the circumstances and obstacles that are put in place.
