Meet Your Instructor

Chimere (or Chim) is a native Western New Yorker, a licensed esthetician, and a lover of all things creativity, culture, and owner of Barima Skin Co. With over 15 years of experience in the fields of education, marketing, and skincare, she has decided to embark on a journey of curating Luxury DIY skincare experiences for the DMV. These experiences will not only allow participants to create their own personal herbal-infused body butter, but they will also learn the proper way to use shea butter and oils based on their skincare needs. Additionally, they will learn about the journey/story of how their shea butter arrived in the States by way of Ghana!
