Make your own eye-catching infinity mirror in a 2-hour long guided building process. This class is intended for those who enjoy the fabrication process (think of a shiny lego set), however it does not require any kind of expertice in crafting.
If you do however have experience soldering, answer so on the quiz!
Familiarize yourself with vinyl cutting, use of the laser cutter, and diy electronics, while getting a glimpse into applications of 3D Printers with this hands-on workshop!

You will get to pick which design you build when you get your ticket, so keep in mind which one appeals to you, and on the quiz select the desired shape. You will assemble your desired kit in the session.

These are the designs currently offered! (per individual availability)

Small mirrors are 12cm tall and large mirrors are 17-20cm tall

👋 Meet Luca! Luca is a student at Red Rocks Community College studying engineering, and has a passion for making all sorts of things! He's been 3D printing for just about four years, and it's quickly become his primary method for creating everything from prototypes and projects to household repairs and holiday gifts.

Luca also serves as one of CCM's Fab Lab volunteers, and helps to manage, maintain, and improve the 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, and crafting areas.

If you see Luca around the shop, feel free to say hi and chat about whatever idea you have cracked up that day!

Frequently asked questions

How will I pick my design?

Make sure to select a design when answering the quiz, what you pick will be given to you when you arrive at the event. Otherwise, feel free to DM me about custom designs!

What is an infinity mirror?

An infinity mirror works by reflecting light back and forth between two mirrors to create the illusion of depth. In our case, we have a one way mirror, enabling us to see this reflection, enabling the examination of this light-phenomenon.

What is included in the kit?

A 3D printed case, two panels of acrylic, your choice if led strip, RGB hub or led dimmer, and 5-12V power supply are included in the kit with optional holographic add-on being held at the event location.
