DIY Gingerbread Appliqué Workshop
Join me for a fun and festive event where you can get crafty with crochet gingerbread designs! Learn how to embroider beautiful appliqués and attach them to your own sweater, scarf, bag, apron, stocking, pillow or more! You can also make your appliques double sided and use them as ornaments or other creative holiday decor.
This hands-on workshop at Koelbel Library (Arapahoe Libraries) will guide you through the process step by step. The Koelbel Library has a cafe where food and beverages are available for purchase. Grab some coffee, bring your creativity and get ready to create your own handmade holiday heirloom!
If you plan to attach your appliqué to a garment, bring the garment with you to attach. Otherwise, you can take your creations home and attach them to your garments at home using the materials provided.
Cost: $15
Includes: One crochet cookie base (made by me), embroidery materials and lesson, materials and instructions to attach to your own garment.
*Additional cookie bases, embroidery and sewing materials available for purchase($7/each). Pre-embroidered appliqués will also be available for purchase if you prefer to only sew them onto your own garment ($14/each).
