What should I bring to the event?

You should bring your laptop and any questions that you have surrounding wills and estate planning.

Where is the venue/parking?

Accepted Answer

The venue is the Courtyard Marriott- Tysons McLean located at 1960-A Chain Bridge Rd, McLean, VA 22102. We will be in the Chesapeake Room. Parking is free around the building and in the garage.

Question 3

Can I bring my own food?

Accepted Answer

We will have food available for you. A delicious boxed lunch and beverages will be served throughout the event. If you have a food allergy or food restrictions, please send a note to let us know. If you need to bring your own food for medical or personal reasons, just reach out.

Question 4

What if I can't attend and need a refund?

Accepted Answer

The workshop is non-refundable. If you want to transfer your slot to another participant, just reach out and we can update the guest list with their name. Otherwise, we are unable to issue refunds.

Question 5

Will there be accessibility for wheelchairs?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! There is an elevator that will bring you right up to the room where the event will be held. Don't let a disability get in the way of getting your affairs in order.

Question 6

Will there be real attorneys at the event?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Our experienced attorneys will be teaching the course and providing instructions on how to complete your will. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a will but does not want to pay full price for an attorney to draft it. Best of both worlds.

Question 7

CanI bring my children?

Accepted Answer

The short answer is no. This is a long workshop with nothing for them to do throughout the day. It's best to leave them with family and friends until you are done getting your affairs in order. They will appreciate it later.
