New York Handmade Collective (NYHC) is proud to announce our new DIY Craft Workshops and you’re invited!

As a guest attending one of our DIY Craft Workshops, you’ll get a chance to learn a new creative skill taught by one of our own NYHC team members.

Our first DIY Craft Workshop will be Modern Calligraphy and Embossing with Danielle Rothman of Rothbyrns Creative.

In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of modern calligraphy, a free-form style that is all about personalizing your writing. You will be guided through practicing the basic strokes that make up all letters, learning a calligraphy alphabet, and using both faux and brush calligraphy to write beautifully. We will finish the class by using heat embossing to personalize holiday gift tags and show off your new skills!

No prior experience is required for this workshop!

Kids and adults ages 12+ plus are welcome.

She has helped more than 1000 students write beautifully at her workshops in NYC, Charlotte, Boston, and Philadelphia.
