Chowder is an institution in New England! Did you know there are even laws dictating what is constituted as a proper chowder? Any classic chowder is truly one of the most satisfying dishes, whether it's winter or summer.

In this hands-on class, Chef Ted will teach you how to make a traditional fish chowder as well as how to create a breadless (and breathless!) scallop-crab cake.

Tailored to your level of expertise, this is an opportunity to fine-tune your culinary skills with a personalized experience and education, plus you'll eat what you make!

Come join us for a relaxed and fun lesson as well as enjoy our beloved Back of the Moon retreat. Weather depending, we’ll light a fire or you can dine on the deck.

NOTES:

Depending on the season, our crabcake is served with either a corn/vanilla sauce or a watermelon salsa.

BYOB

Please bring a change of shoes for indoors.

Long hair should be tied up or pulled back.

This experience repeats regularly on most Tuesday evenings. If you need a change of day or time, please contact us.

A two-person minimum is preferred, but contact us as we may have other singles on a waitlist.

Regarding COVID: We will abide by the Vermont Forward state website.

WINTER: if you don't have a proper vehicle to make it up our hill, we will pick you up on Route 4.
