Description:
"Distinguishing Between Typically Developing English Learners (ELs) and Students with Reading Difficulties" is a web‐based learning module created by SERC’s Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) / Dyslexia Initiative in collaboration with and via support from the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE).
The intended audience for this professional learning opportunity includes general and special education teachers; teachers of English as a second language (ESL, TESOL), bilingual teachers, and EL tutors; directors and supervisors of special education; administrators; curriculum specialists, reading teachers, coordinators, and coaches; families, and; speech‐language pathologists and school psychologists.
