Breakfast at O'Hill each morning

Every participant will receive breakfast from 8-9am at UVa's O'Hill dining hall. There is no cost.

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

Lunch at O'Hill each day

We can't learn hungry! Each participant will receive lunch, every day, at O'Hill. And, just like breakfast, it's on us- there is no cost.

Dissect & Discover: The Hidden Engineering of Everyday Devices

Uplift and the UVa Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering invite you to join our fun and informative summer camp. Come smash and dissect some everyday devices, from solar panels to speakers and kitchen applicanes, to explore how they work. We'll also learn how to build speakers, motors, and electric guitars, and present our results. Don't miss out on this opportunity to explore engineering at UVa!How do I sign up? Who is leading this?

This is collaboration between Uplift's Munier Nazeer, and Keith Williams and Mona Zebarjadi from the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, at UVa. They have lots of experience teaching and coaching and really enjoy breaking and building and figuring out how things work.

What students are eligible to attend?
