The series, presented by the Network for Social Justice and Social Capital Inc, is designed as a number of intentional conversations around core tenets of a racial justice approach. The aim is to give participants, regardless of their past experience (or lack thereof) with the subject matter, the language and tools to have grounded conversation around race and racism, taking steps to disrupt it on the micro level (challenging perceptions within themselves, and also in small scale conversations with family, friends and colleagues).

Two co-facilitators will lead participants through terms, theoretical models, and actionable concepts, and each session will conclude with a series of practical applications of antiracism which can be applied to their own personal and/or professional work. An outline can be found here.

It is recommended, though not required, for participants to attend all 3 sessions. This program is geared toward those who live, work, and/or worship in Winchester and Woburn, but those from other communities are welcome to attend as well. The content is appropriate for adults and students in high school level or beyond.
