This APA-approved, virtual training session is ideal for mental health professionals seeking deeper insight and practical strategies in addressing disordered eating.
Disordered eating does not always fit neatly into diagnostic categories. This continuing education training helps clinicians deepen their understanding of eating concerns across the spectrum while building cultural responsiveness and practical skills for client care.
Join Liz Blanchette, MA, MLP and Dr. Julie Davis, PhD, LP for a three-hour virtual workshop exploring both clinical and subclinical presentations of disordered eating. Participants who complete the training will receive 3 continuing education credits.
In this training, you will:
- Build a framework for understanding food and body relationships
- Identify differential diagnoses across diverse populations, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and men
- Practice curiosity and sensitivity in therapeutic conversations
- Review interventions with emphasis on identity and self-perception
