Kate Zernike, a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist will discuss the groundbreaking story, an inspiring account of sixteen female scientists who forced MIT to publicly admit it had been discriminating against its female faculty which sparked a nationwide reckoning with the pervasive sexism in science.


This is a special event in honor of the 25th anniversary of Beacon Hill Seminars (https://beaconhillseminars.org/). Kate Zernike will give a talk with readings from her book, followed by an interactive Q&A and book signing session.
