Discussing GenAI in Your Course With Students

By CATLR
Online event

Overview

Jumpstart your semester with this exploration and discussion about engaging students in discussion of appropriate uses of AI in your class.

Determining where generative AI fits and doesn’t within your course is important to clarify. The next step is engaging your students about the role of AI in your course. This interactive workshop equips you with approaches to discuss the role of AI with your students. We will explore using syllabi statements, principles of transparent assignment design, and strategies for handling situations when questionable AI usage arises. You will leave with actionable techniques to demystify how and why AI may (or may not) be used in your courses while promoting academic integrity, trust, and learning.

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
