Whether you're vegan, lactose intolerant, or just curious, this event is for you! During this class you will learn about the potential health benefits of utilizing non-dairy products in place of dairy. We'll discuss the best alternatives to milk, cheese, and more. The class also includes a cooking demonstration and educational materials, including recipes for you to try on your own. Don't miss out on this dairy-free adventure!

Food For Life (FFL) is a cooking and nutrition education program of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. This evidence-based program was created by physicians, diabetes educators, dieticians, and professional chefs to translate complex nutrition information into easy meals designed to promote health and fight disease.

Organized by

Dr. Donna Michel is a retired physician board certified in Nephrology, Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. She completed a Certification in Plant-Based Nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutritional Studies via eCornell, and is a licensed Food For Life Instructor through the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Dr. Michel’s approach to health and wellness emphasizes a whole food plant-based diet and attention to lifestyle choices. Her current mission is to utilize her knowledge and passion to educate others in a way that is accessible, understandable, and inspiring. She seeks to empower people to confidently take charge of their health through their own actions.
