Do you wish you could improve your response to tense conflict situations? While your emotional reaction may feel automatic, with increased awareness and practice, you can choose how you respond in conflict situations.
In this workshop, Laura Bowles, Certified Mediator and Conflict Coach, shares five styles for approaching conflict, based on the Style Matters conflict styles inventory. Participants will take the assessment prior to the workshop, learn about their own patterns in conflict and where they come from, and identify strategies for leveraging each style wisely and effectively. Participants will also learn about how emotions impact approaches to conflict, and will leave with self-awareness and stress management tools to support a healthy sense of well-being, even in conflict.
The workshop covers:
● What impacts conflict styles
● Style Matters: Kraybill’s Conflict Styles framework
● Understanding your conflict style
● Recognizing how your emotions may shift your response to conflict
● Strategies and tools for self-awareness and stress management in conflict
Dates are Part 1: Sept 10, 2025 and Part 2: Sept 17, 2025 from 6pm-7:30pm via zoom
