This year's tour will highlight the journey of wheat through local agriculture, culinary arts, and innovative industries. Whether you're a returning participant or joining us for the first time, you'll gain fresh insights into Oklahoma's wheat industry and its connection to our daily lives.

Enjoy an evening shopping trip at the Tulsa Premium Outlets.
Dinner at Andolini’s Pizzeria on the Riverwalk
Join us for dinner at Andolini’s Pizzeria, located on the scenic Riverwalk.

Please note: The cost for this evening activity is not included in the registration fee. Each attendee will pay for their own shopping and meal expenses. Reservations will be made at Andolini's for those attending. Transportation is not provided for evening activities.

Day 1: May 28

Looped Square Meat Company
Tour a local butcher shop specializing in locally raised beef, pork, game processing, and more. Learn how wheat plays a role in livestock production and the local food supply chain.
Wheat Farm Visit
See wheat production firsthand at a local farm and learn about its impact on Oklahoma agriculture.
OSU IT Culinary Division – Mystery Basket Challenge
Work alongside fellow teachers to create "Mystery Basket" side dishes featuring wheat-based ingredients. Your dishes will accompany meats prepared by OSU IT chefs and students using Argentine spits, Hasty Bakes, and open grate grills at the outdoor kitchen. Tours of the OSU IT Culinary Division and campus will be provided — comfortable walking shoes recommended!
Patisserie by Sheila Anne
End the day with a French pastry and hear how Sheila Anne combined her passion for baking and business to create her thriving bakery in Jenks.

Day 2: May 29

Tulsa Port of Catoosa Tour
Explore one of the largest, most inland river ports in the U.S. Learn how agricultural commodities — including wheat — move from Oklahoma fields to markets around the world. The tour will begin indoors and conclude with a bus tour of the port.
Farm-to-Fork Lunch by Piquet's Catering
Enjoy a locally sourced lunch featuring chicken and Chisholm Trail Mill flour penne pasta — a connection to last year's tour! Hear how former agriculture instructor Rachel Piquet built her farm-to-fork catering business.
Tart Making at ONE Gas
Wrap up the tour with a hands-on tart making session, highlighting how wheat transforms into delicious baked goods.
