Overview

Hand-craft a sacred ceramic instrument with ancestral Mesoamerican techniques. Guided by Vianney López. No experience needed.

This intimate in-person workshop takes place inside Vianney López’s private ceramic and music studio sanctuary in Philadelphia. You’ll be guided through the hand-building of a sacred clay instrument using ancestral Mesoamerican techniques, connecting with the earth through texture, breath, and sound.

No prior clay or musical experience is needed—this space welcomes beginners and curious creatives. All materials are provided. Expect a gentle, meditative learning atmosphere with time for hands-on sculpting, tuning, and personal exploration.

The studio is located in a historic building with elevator access, restrooms, and nearby parking options. Light tea and breaks are offered. Please wear comfortable clothing that can get a little clay-touched.

This experience invites presence, creativity, and respect for the ancient lineages that inspire the work.
