Discover Picpoul — A Free Tasting at Perry’s Palm Springs

Join us this Thursday at Perry’s Palm Springs as we explore one of the wine world’s brightest, zippiest, most sunshine-ready grapes: Picpoul. Long loved in the south of France for its refreshing snap and citrus-salt brightness, Picpoul has quietly become a darling of California winemakers—and this week, we’re pouring three bottles that show just how versatile this grape can be.

We’ll start with Bonny Doon Picpoul, a joyful California twist full of orchard fruit and golden-hour lift. Then we move to Groundwork Picpoul “Carbonique” from Paso Robles, an energetic, skin-contact take that brings texture, playfulness, and a surprising amount of personality. Finally, we head to the Rhône Valley with Domaine Maby’s White Lirac, where Picpoul joins other local varieties to create a wine that’s rounder, deeper, and beautifully Mediterranean.
