Discover Jivamukti Yoga : Philosophy and Practice
Overview
Join Ganapati, one of Ayama’s senior teachers, for a special 2-hour workshop introducing the heart of Jivamukti Yoga—a practice that blends physical asana with deep spiritual inquiry.
The workshop begins with a 20–25 minute talk exploring:
• The Five Tenets of Jivamukti Yoga
• Bhakti Yoga and the role of devotion in practice
• Selected Yoga Sutras and their connection to movement on the mat
• The principle of Ahimsa (non-violence) and its link to compassion and animal rights
After a short break, participants will be guided through an accessible practice: a gentle warm-up leading into a flowing, meditative sequence, and finishing with a deeply restorative savasana to integrate the experience.
Whether you’re new to Jivamukti or curious to deepen your understanding of yoga’s spiritual roots, this workshop offers an inspiring space to learn, move, and reflect with intention and heart.
