What is this workshop about?
From Castle to Communal: Using your HOME for Ministry and Mission
Whether you are wired as an introvert or extrovert, your home is one of the greatest tools for building community with other believers as well as with those who don't know Jesus yet. If you struggle to open your home up to others, if you want some tips and tricks to make hosting more sustainable, if you need help naming the barriers to inviting people in, or if you simply sense the Lord inviting you to grow in the spiritual discipline of hospitality, this is for you. This workshop will be practical and you'll walk away with next steps!
We'll look at what happened in home spaces in the gospels, learn how to offer "scruffy" hospitality that others can imitate, and get really practical with tips to make this doable even for those that aren't naturally hospitable.
Who is it for?
Any follower of Jesus that wants to grow in how to make disciples and grow a missional life. These workshops are not meant to simply get more information - they are meant to help you take active steps towards being and making healthy disciples.
What will it feel like to be a part of the digital workshop?
It's different than a webinar - it will feel like a workshop. There will be a bit of teaching to frame up the way of Jesus, then there will be some helpful training and tools that you will apply directly to your life and the people/places around you. This digital workshop will feel like practical training and you will walk away with next steps you create as you respond to what you sense God inviting you to do next. It is interactive, so come prepared to engage with the content and with others.
