This training is designed to help farmers prepare for, manage, and recover from disaster risks that threaten farm businesses.
Both workshop days will include a catered lunch. Please only register for Part 2 if you will be attending Part 1 on October 17.

- Teaching farmers how to prepare for and manage disaster risks
- Guiding participants in the development of personalized risk management plans for their farm businesses

- Introduction to risk management basics
- Farm business planning strategies
- Best practices for disaster risk management
- Farm-specific risk management action plans
- In-depth study of various types of disasters and strategies for preparation and avoidance
- Analysis of agricultural liabilities and assets
