Director's Dialogue: Where Art Meets the Public

Director's Dialogue: Where Art Meets the Public

By American Federation of Arts

Overview

A panel discussion among museum directors from across the country, moderated by Pauline Forlenza, Director & CEO of the AFA.

Join us as we discuss how museums build public trust and actively contribute to the well-being and critical thinking of the audiences and communities they serve. Sharing examples of exhibitions and programs created in collaboration with communities, panelists will explain how they measure the positive impact of this work. Join us to discover the powerful new role of the art museum as an essential, engaged public asset.

This program is free and open to the public with registration.

For questions or additional information, please contact events@amfedarts.org.

If you are able, we invite you to make a donation in support of the AFA, so we can continue offering free programs like this to the public.

Public programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. These programs are also supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council. We are also grateful for the generous support of Berkley Asset Protection, Huntington T. Block Insurance, Arthur F. and Alice E. Adams Charitable Foundation, and the American Chai Trust.
