Welcome to Diplomacy Discourse 2025!

Diplomacy Discourse is the annual flagship event of FPCI BINUS, an open forum that brings students, academics, the public, and professionals together to discuss strategic issues in Indonesian diplomacy. The event aims to deepen young people’s understanding of foreign policy in a rapidly changing global environment.

For 2025, Diplomacy Discourse carries the theme “People First, Power Forward: Advancing Indonesian Diplomacy in Protection and Defense.” The theme highlights Indonesia’s dual focus: strengthening diplomatic protection for citizens abroad and advancing defense diplomacy to safeguard national interests amid global uncertainty.

The program will feature two panel discussions:

• People First: Advancing the Rights and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers
• Power Forward: How Can Defense Diplomacy and Industry Strengthen Indonesia’s Strategic Autonomy?

These sessions will equip participants with critical insights into the future of Indonesia’s foreign policy in the areas of protection and defense.
