Early Bird TIckets On Sale Now!

It's that time of year again - Baton Rouge's premiere farm-to-table dinner event!

Dinner in the Field is a fundraising event for Slow Food Baton Rouge as well as a showcase of the culinary arts, local Louisiana farms and food traditions. The dinner will feature locally grown foods selected and prepared by some of your favorite local chefs. This year's chef line up will be Phillip Beard of Bumsteers, Danny Santana of Bin 77, Barrett Meeks of Mansur's on the Boulevard, Jonathan Breaux of The Overpass Merchant, Ryan Andre of Soji, and Justin Lambert of The Gregory at Watermark Hotel. A cocktail hour with locally made spirits will begin at 4 with live music. The six-course dinner will begin promptly at 5 pm. Each course will be accompanied by wine parings. Seating is limited, so purchase your tickets in advance. Early bird tickets are available now through April 23rd.

Again this year, Slow Food Baton Rouge will be partnering with the Baton Rouge Gallery. SFBR is pleased to have the opportunity to have the Dinner in the Field on the beautiful grounds either outside or in the gallery in the unlikely event of rain.

The Dinner in the Field is a benefit with proceeds dedicated entirely to Baton Rouge's only comprehensive farm to school program, which for the past 7 years has been at Dufrocq Elementary School in Baton Rouge and will be expanding to other schools in 2020.
