Where is the theater in Franklin Park?

Accepted Answer

When you enter the Park, follow the main road to the stop sign and turn right and go up the hill.  Follow signs for the Arts Center and park in the lot above the while building with green roof and silo.  Walk down to the front entrance.

Is parking free?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  There is plenty of parking available in the lots above the Arts Center.

Question 3

Is there accessible parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  There are 2 spots at the front entrance.  There are several spots in the main parking area and there is more accessible parking in front of the adjacent building.   You may also drive down to the entrance to drop off passengers at the front door.

Question 4

Will I have to go up/down steps for seating in the theater?

Accepted Answer

There is a row of accessible seating that does not require you to go up or down any stairs.  We recommend arriving 45 minutes before the show so that ushers/staff can assist you.  We also have an elevator to take you down for front row seating.

Question 5

Can I bring food or drinks into the theater?

Accepted Answer

You may bring water ONLY into the theater.  Anything else must be consumed in the lobby.  We do not allow alcohol in our facility.

Question 6

Will I be able to hear the actor if I am sitting in the back?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  The actor will have a microphone and we have a professional sound system in our theater.  In addition, we have a few assisted listening devices which you can request from the usher.
