About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Understanding the importance of place is essential in a world of global mobility, including awareness of local history, communities, strengths, and challenges. This panel explores how educators can use digital storytelling to help students engage deeply with the local contexts in which they are learning, exploring big questions from a local perspective.

Panelists will share examples of assignments, such as digital storymapping, that help students develop curiosity, cultural humility, and capacity for reflection. They will also share tips for planning, facilitating and assessing these types of assignments.

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
