#501TechNYC: Connect. Learn. Change the world!

Wednesday, September 27, 2017

6:00pm - 6:30pm Schmooze

6:30pm - 8:00pm Session

We all know we should be monitoring metrics related to our organization’s objectives, but where do you start? How do you find the time? And what do all these numbers mean? We’ll begin to answer each of these questions, and likely more, in this session on why monitoring key performance indicators is important, how to easily do so with limited time and resources, and both what different metrics mean and what to do about it.

  • Learn to name and define more than a dozen key metrics.
  • Leave with a free Metrics Tracking Template -- to replicate and customize on your own for simple tracking & monitoring.
  • Understand several key metrics mean and be able to define options to test and improve each.

With nearly 20 years’ experience, Chris Tuttle has worked for and consulted with over 200 local, national, and global organizations and brands to help develop digital engagement strategies involving social media, website, email, integrated fundraising, advocacy and marketing campaigns.

Today, Tuttle is the Director of Communications for GLSEN, the nation’s leading education organization creating safe and inclusive schools for LGBTQ youth. Tuttle is also an Expert Trainer for Idealware and NeighborWorks, a board member for the NYC Anti-Violence Project, and spends his free time with his fiancé and their two fur children, Luca & Lola.

We are grateful to GLSEN for our amazing venue. Come experience their beautiful, friendly offices in Lower Manhattan.
