Digital & AI for ‘good’: Empowering the Dutch social economy

Join us on Thursday, September 25th , 2025, from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM in Amersfoort, Netherlands, for an interactive workshop exploring the intersection of Digital, Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Social Economy. This event is designed for Social Economy Enablers — organizations and professionals who support the growth and development of social economy enterprises through capacity building, networking, and resources - , Digital Innovation Hubs and Digital SME’s. The workshop will be held in Dutch.

Who Should Attend?

The workshop targets Dutch:

• Social Economy Enablers (SEO) --> This may include: support organizations (e.g., administrations, support bodies, individuals, or trainers). It can also encompass: incubators, networks.
• Digital Innovation Hubs
• Digital SME’s

This workshop provides a unique platform to network and connect with other social economy enablers on how data, digital & AI can be leveraged to strengthen the social economy.

Project Background

This workshop is organized by Amsterdam Impact, with support of FARI - AI for the Common Good Institute / Université Libre de Bruxelles, SOGA, Eurecat, Impact Hub, and Collective Up. It is part of the Digital Growth Initiatives for Social Economy Transformation (DIGISET) project, supported by the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA).

The DIGISET project, running from 2024 to 2026, supports social economy organizations—particularly social SMEs and enablers—in their digitization journey. The project focuses on building digital capacity through AI, data, and new business models. It leverages the expertise of European Innovation Digital Hubs, AI and Data Research Centers, and other enabling organizations to foster knowledge exchange and drive societal impact through digitalization and innovation.
